Ateneo Gelateria & Deli produces on the spot fresh Italian ice cream with its vintage Carpigiani ice cream makers. Blending new and old, metal, wood and mosaic where the main building elements. The metal truss roof was prefabricated and brought to the site minimizing construction time and cost. Solid oak wood furniture where treated with extra mat natural varnish on the interior and Iroko wood was used on all external spaces.
A new stone mosaic floor was constructed using the traditional techniques of mosaic making, where gravel was carefully selected and mixed to match the mortar palette.
